On Thursday 8th May the pupils and staff celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as characters from novels and plays. (The event was delayed by one week due to the snow disruption).
Favourite stories were listed, books were swapped and reading book tokens given out to pupils. Pupils also found out how children in some parts of the world have much less access to books.
The children were very excited and showed such enthusiasm.
Thanks to all parents and carers who all helped provide the costumes.
