Introduction

Our Mission statement is "Generating Confidence to Experience the Joy of Learning".

At Woodstock we aim to facilitate the effective teaching and learning of knowledge, skills and concepts and to encourage our children to become increasingly self-evaluative in order for them to fulfil their potential now and for the future. We feel that it is vital to inspire, motivate and challenge all our pupils whilst at the same time providing a therapeutic context for their difficulties.

We work to develop children's self-esteem, equip them to achieve appropriate and challenging personal targets and develop an enthusiasm for learning in order that they may make the most of the opportunities presented to them. Above all we aim to help them to become successful learners for life as well as rounded human beings.

We do all of the above by employing a dedicated team of experienced, talented and caring staff, and by tailoring our provision to meet the needs of every individual child. Our curriculum is designed to maximise children's engagement and enjoyment with learning and is woven together with a keen eye on the spiritual, social, moral and cultural curriculum (SMSC). We encourage learning in the natural environment (LINE) and teach through a thematic approach. Do take some time to look at our curriculum.
